The Shape We Held

Video

Story

I heard murmurs through dark alleys with you

Attuned to your wild drive, my learned escape

Leaning into your ways, you’re all I knew

Sunlit avenues awaiting our shape

My cursed soul will always long for your ear

A longing I hope abandons with time

Bio craving wears, I’ll cradle my dear

Heart in cold hand, I walk the path still mine

Those local parks were my favorite space

Roads of ringing ears, tethered throat, blurred sight,

And then, in absence questioned on sick place

Thirsting your court, this a familiar spite

We’ve been on many streets, your hand in mine

Thanks to you, now I create my own design
